This page explains how HindFeed chooses, writes and checks the stories we publish.
What we publish
We publish positive, verifiable stories from India that show people and communities working together. We do not publish opinion presented as news, unverified social media claims, or stories that blame any community.
Sources
- Every story links to the original article it is based on and names the publication.
- We rely on established news organisations, official sources and reports with a named reporter or a clear origin.
- Viral posts and forwards are used only after a credible outlet has confirmed them.
- Links to source articles are marked nofollow.
How we write
- Headlines are factual and kept to about 12 words. No clickbait.
- Each summary is 60 to 80 words, written in our own words. We do not copy text from the source.
- We report only what the source says and do not add claims, figures or quotes it does not contain.
- We avoid language that stereotypes any religion, caste, region, gender or community.
Images
We use photographs we have the right to publish, with credit where required. If no suitable image is available, we publish the story without one.
Independence
HindFeed is not affiliated with any political party. If we ever carry sponsored content, it will be clearly labelled.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. See our Corrections page to report an error.
