About HindFeed

HindFeed publishes short, positive stories from across India. We look for news of people helping each other across religion, caste, language and region, and of ordinary citizens doing work that rarely makes the headlines.

How a HindFeed story works

Every story has a headline, a one-line summary and a short body of 60 to 80 words written in our own words. At the end, we link to the original report so you can read it in full. If we cannot find a reliable source for a story, we do not publish it.

Why we started

Most news about communities in India focuses on conflict. That reporting matters, but it is not the whole picture. Every day, neighbours share festivals, strangers help each other in emergencies and local groups solve problems together. HindFeed puts those stories in one place.

What we cover

  • Harmony: people of different faiths and communities standing by each other
  • Unsung Heroes: individuals whose work deserves more attention
  • Festivals Together: celebrations shared across communities
  • Inclusive India: stories about access and dignity for everyone
