Nahan’s Nadim Ali reaches blood bank in 10 minutes to help woman
A volunteer donor in Himachal's Sirmour district gave A-positive blood to a critically ill woman awaiting surgery at Medical College Nahan.
Nadim Ali of Nahan in Himachal Pradesh’s Sirmour district donated A positive blood to a critically ill woman at Medical College Nahan, Amar Ujala reported on 4 November 2026. The woman, from Naiwala village in Paonta Sahib tehsil, had haemoglobin of 8 and needed blood before surgery. The gynaecology department contacted the Drops of Hope Society, which called Nadim. He reached the blood bank in 10 minutes. Gynaecologist Dr Amod Singh gave him a certificate.
